What this service is

energymadeeasier.au is an independent energy comparison and advisory tool operated by Accurassi Pty Ltd. It is designed to help Australian consumers understand their energy options, identify structural issues with their current plan (such as demand tariff opt-out rights), and explore electrification pathways.

This service is currently in public beta. Features, data coverage, and accuracy are improving continuously. Some results may be incomplete — particularly outside the NSW Ausgrid network area, which has the most complete data at this stage.

What this service is not

• A financial product or financial advice service
• An energy broker — we do not receive commissions from retailers
• A switching service — we do not enrol you in a plan on your behalf
• A substitute for reading your plan's full terms and conditions
• A complete or guaranteed price comparison — costs depend on your actual usage pattern

Accuracy and limitations

Plan data is sourced from the Australian Energy Regulator's public dataset and the Consumer Data Right (CDR) energy API. Rates and plan availability change frequently. We refresh data regularly but cannot guarantee it reflects the most current published rates at all times. Always verify rates directly with your retailer before switching.

Structural advisories (such as demand tariff opt-out rights) are based on regulatory determinations and network tariff assignments. They are general in nature and do not constitute legal advice. We cite our sources for every advisory — you should read the cited determinations and, if in doubt, contact your retailer or the relevant ombudsman.

Network tariff (NTC) data is sourced from public comparator sites and curated manually. Coverage is highest for the Ausgrid network area. Coverage for other network areas is expanding and may be incomplete.

Your use of the service

You may use energymadeeasier.au for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not:

• Systematically scrape or bulk-download data from the service
• Use automated tools to access the comparison engine at scale
• Represent our outputs as your own product or analysis
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Australian law, Accurassi Pty Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your reliance on information provided by this service. This includes, but is not limited to, energy costs that differ from projected estimates, or advisory outcomes that differ from your specific situation.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Intellectual property

The NTC mapping data, advisory logic, and comparison methodology are proprietary to Accurassi Pty Ltd. Plan rate data is sourced from public regulatory datasets (AER, CDR) and remains subject to AER data licensing terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
